NATURAL CAUSES

Documenting time in the form of photographs not only provides the material with which we build our mental bridges to our loved ones, it also compels us to acknowledge the reality of our own age and vulnerability.

As time advances and our family evolutions continue, we look for ways to hold on to our past, usually through our memories. Without the aid of visual reminders, these recollections fade and at times become lost. The fear of losing these memories is what drives my act of conservation.
